About the Candidate
Darryl Randall is a proud United States Air Force veteran who understands what it means to put duty before self. After his military service, he continued to serve his community as a First Responder — responding when neighbors need help most.
He's not a career politician. He's a Saint Mary's County resident who sees the real challenges facing our families — rising costs, struggling schools, public safety concerns, and a need for sustainable growth — and believes we can do better with the right leadership.
Darryl brings discipline, integrity, and a results-driven mindset to every challenge. He knows how government works, understands the needs of working families, and is ready to fight for real solutions at the county level.
Darryl believes public service demands honesty — with taxpayers, with constituents, and with the county. No hidden agendas, no back-room deals.
From his Air Force oath to emergency response, Darryl has always answered the call. As Commissioner, he will put the needs of Saint Mary's County families ahead of politics.

Our first responders shouldn't face mental health crises alone — and neither should our neighbors. Darryl will champion accessible crisis intervention and community mental health services.
Saint Mary's County children deserve quality education and the resources to thrive. Darryl will prioritize school funding, accountability, and keeping parents informed and involved.
Working families are being priced out of the county they call home. Darryl will push for smart housing policies that increase supply, preserve neighborhoods, and keep homeownership achievable.
A strong local economy means opportunity for every family. Darryl will work to attract responsible businesses, support small business owners, and grow the county's tax base without raising the burden on residents.
Safe roads and reliable infrastructure are basic county responsibilities. Darryl will prioritize long-overdue maintenance projects and ensure taxpayer infrastructure dollars are spent wisely.
